I don’t even really know you.
I have seen bursts of the most intimate parts are your soul,
And then long stretches of darkness where I don’t know you at all.
Yet your face,
Is stuck in my brain.
And I have tried,
I have tried to rip its image off the walls of my mind.
But the glue on the back of the photo,
Is so strong is just rips the wallpaper off the wall.
So I guess I’ll leave you there,
Staring me down with eyes I can’t explain.
